Application process for 2025 is closed
The application deadline for all internships in 2025 is November 1, 2024. You must complete the online application and upload your resume no later than November 1, 2024. Applications that are incomplete or received after the deadline, will not be considered. Please know that the available spots for 2025 are very limited.
This is a paid 10 week minimum internship. Compensation is $1000/month plus housing. Housing is fully furnished, although interns will be responsible for all linen (towels, sheets, pillows, etc.) and food. Most locations will have interns sharing a house.
Teleconference interviews will be scheduled in January/February with the hiring committee. Applicants that excel during the first interview will be asked to travel to Encampment, Wyoming in March or April for a second interview. We try to schedule the second interview during your spring break. To be considered for a position, travel to Wyoming is mandatory. If you do not intend to travel to Wyoming, please do not apply. Again, there are very few internship spots for 2025. Please do not apply if you are not going to complete the process.
Internships with Silver Spur Ranches are very competitive. Preference will be given to individuals interested in pursuing careers or secondary degrees in agriculturally related fields.
